Do I need permission use a track by another artist?

If it makes a sound we can physically cut it, but if you are unsure about the legality of cutting a track, please check with the original vendor. Different vendors have different policies regarding fair use, and the law changes from time to time, so we cannot comment on individual tracks from a given supplier, at any given time.
