Stem mastering works by separating out the mix into several subgroups, giving more control to the mastering engineer to make finer, less intrusive tweaks to the sound. In most cases this type work is already done at the mixing stage, but sometimes a stem master can work better because problem areas are isolated before the final processing.
Order two or more and the price is just £40 per master!
The great thing about stem is that each stage of the process is handled by a different specialist engineer, one for the mixing, and one for the mastering, so even the most problematic tracks have a greater chance of sounding their best.
How it works: after placing your order, you upload the file(s) using our online uploader, and give us a brief here if needed. When the mixing is complete, you get chance to OK the pre-masters before they are sent on to the mastering engineer.
When the mastering is complete, we zip the tracks up and send you a link to download them. Then if you are happy with the tracks you can sign them off, or if you still think further work needs doing we will ask you to fill out the feedback form here, so we can work out how to improve the masters.
